Becky Crosbie leads Nate Meyer and Tony Acosta into the rebuilt Historic Fort Wayne, located between the current Spy Run Avenue and the confluence of rivers near downtown. This marked the completion point for our portage pilots, who had carried the canoe on their shoulders from southwest Allen County to this point. The old Miami village known as Kekionga once stood on this spot.
